MINI-CATION: Grand Canyon & Antelope Canyons

So if you’ve been following my blog, you know that I will turn any trip into a mini vacation.  This time it was a work trip to Phoenix…. I extended my trip over the weekend and hopped on the road!

Initially the plan was just to visit the Grand Canyon, but as I thought about it more, I kept thinking the 8 hour round trip drive wouldn’t be worth it if that’s all I did.  I took to Google, and viola!  Antelope Canyon it was!

As I started doing more research I realized all those beautiful pictures that I had been looking at over the years was just a couple more hours north of the Grand Canyon, so I decided to go for it.  Now the real problem was that I didn’t know which one to go for… Upper Antelope Canyon or Lower Antelope Canyon??  I chose both!

Sidenote: A few of you may be wondering why I didn’t just maybe a Sedona to the list.  Well, a few months earlier the exact same thing happened.  I had to go to Phoenix for work, extended the trip over the weekend, and chose to go to Sedona that time… maybe I’ll add a clip or gallery of pictures from my trip later.

If you are planning on visiting (Antelope Canyons), I recommend this blog post.  This is where I got all of my information and how I chose what times to go and which tour company to choose.  As for the Grand Canyon, just go to the website.  There is plenty of helpful information there and you can’t really go wrong, just go!
